A costume fit for a crazy Oldman

Costume designers must love it when they find out they're working with Gary Oldman because he'll wear just about anything. Check out io9's excellent list of Oldman's most out-there movie outfits: The 10 Craziest Costumes Gary Oldman Ever Wore

My personal favorites are the costumes he wore as Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg in The Fifth Element. They were created by French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.

On a related note, here's what Gary had to say about getting back into his Jim Gordon suit again:
Q: You must be excited in putting on the Commissioner Gordon uniform again soon?
A:  My drab greys and beiges [laughs]. I went to the production offices the other day and there’s all these fantastic pictures across the wall: Catwoman, this, that, and I thought, 'where’s my wall?' I don’t have a wall, I just have a rack of very, very dull clothes [laughs].

Oh, Fifth Element would be my pick, I totally agree! Amazing stuff. And his performance in that was so hilarious. :)

He absolutely kills me in that movie! I know some people don't appreciate The Fifth Element, but it's supposed to be over-the-top campy. That's what makes it so hilarious!
