McCartney receives Gershwin Prize

The Library of Congress has honored Paul McCartney with the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.  Read the article here: McCartney's long, winding road leads to the White House (AP via Yahoo! News)

Plus, The Washington Post has two must-see photo galleries on its website:
Photos of the Library of Congress event  (where he sang "Yesterday" and "Blackbird," my two favorite Beatles songs!!) and a look back at McCartney's career.

Paul's concert at the White House, which happens tonight, is scheduled to air July 28 on PBS.
