John Farr explores some of the best movies about the US Presidency:
Presidential Pictures: Top Movies About The Top Job (from The Huffington Post)

"Given the sheer scale and complexity of the Presidency in modern times, and the paradox which lies at its heart, it's no surprise that a host of great films have explored the nature of our country's highest office. The best of them juxtapose its intensely public and private aspects, and whether intended to scare or amuse us, put us on the inside of the highest-stakes game we know."

All in all, these are wonderful films, but I was disappointed that there was no mention of my all-time favorite presidential movie, The American President. You can't discuss movies about the presidency without mentioning one of Aaron Sorkin's best works!
