Adrienne Shelly's legacy lives on

I just found a nice article from The New York Times about the late Ms. Shelly's new film, Serious Moonlight.  I loved Waitress, and I'm glad to see some more of her outstanding work is coming to light...kind of bittersweet, though.

Make sure to watch the clip featuring Meg Ryan and Kristen Bell -- hilarious dialogue!!  There is also a cute/funny pic of Timothy Hutton wrapped in duct tape.

Okay, just to sum up:  written by Adrienne Shelly, starring Tim and Meg, directed by Cheryl Hines???
I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

Thanks for linking to that. I loved The Waitress. It was such a sweet movie. I remember being so sad that it was the last of we'd see from such a great writer/director.

You're welcome! I felt the same way, so I'm glad her family has decided to go ahead with producing her completed scripts. I hope Cheryl Hines is able to do Adrienne's word justice in her directoral debut...I think she will, the two were pretty good friends.
