Wow, two posts in one day.  That is not something I plan to make a habit of doing (especially after my monster Boeing-Boeing post earlier!), but I just couldn't resist this one.

Apparently Stephen Colbert had a little accident this weekend.  Last night on The Colbert Report you could clearly see several stitches on the bridge of his nose and some pretty nasty bruising under both eyes.  He showed off his injuries to the cameras but didn't explain what happened.  He did joke that after he broke his wrist last year he vowed never to brace a fall with his hands again.  So I guess his face is the next option?  Maybe not your best idea, Stephen.  You can look at a close-up of his injuries under the cut.

Poor baby.
So at work today I got on the internet to try to find out what exactly happened to Stephen's face (What?!  I finished the major project I've been working on for the last three weeks a day early so I had some downtime!  It's not like they're gonna fire me...the whole place would fall apart if I wasn't there!).  Anyway, I was unsuccessful in my quest.  Does anyone know what happened?
Based on the stitches and the location of the bruises, I'm thinking it was a glasses-on accident.  I noticed during the episode that he kept adjusting the glasses he was wearing. He would lift them up off his nose every few minutes...they must have really been bothering him.  Ouch!
