Boeing, Beatles, things that start with B.

An interesting article about the set of Boeing-Boeing:
The story also talks a bit about the cast. There's only a brief mention of Brad (well obviously, since he's not in the show anymore), but it's still worth the read.

And for the Beatles fans out there, here's a possible clue about the identity of Eleanor Rigby:

Document offers clues to Beatles enigma

That song used to creep me out when I was a kid (...wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door?  You'd think it was weird too if you were eight.).  Now it's one of my favorites.

Awesome article about Boeing-Boeing! Oh man, I wish I'd been at that performance! And I love hearing all the little tidbits about anything that goes on backstage. I love to see how it's done.

Me too! I actually love to see things like that happen onstage...it reminds you that, hey, this is LIVE! I remember the night I saw it, during the scene when Brad opens the bottle of champagne, the champagne overflowed everywhere. You could tell he was taken by surprise, and he actually put his mouth over the bottle opening to stop the flow of liquid.

OMG! That's hysterical! You really lucked out.

I don't think anything 'off' happened in the show I was at...more's the pity. :-( I wish I'd gotten to see it numerous times--because I love seeing how the actors handle it when something does go unexpectedly.

I could see Brad not letting Mark know it was okay even if he had the opportunity!

Yeah, that totally sounds like something Brad would do. You know he "forgot" to tell Mark on purpose!

Thanks for sharing the links, Piney!

Having not been part of the contingent to go see Boeing Boeing, it's fun to get more details about the show involving BW, Mary McC and so many other familiar faces.

And what a cool bit of Eleanor Rigby info!

You're welcome, Tom!

It's too bad you didn't see Brad and Mary...they both gave outstanding performances. The play is really funny so if you ever get a chance to see it, you definitely should. It's really good (even without the WW folks!).
